We have all been sick lately, I will give you the rundown Gracie- twice, Davyn-once(but coughed for a full 10 days), Dillon- once(also coughed for a full ten days), Samantha- twice, Ashley- three time(clearly the winner), Africa-twice and Gilert not one time.  I know it shouldn't annoy me that he never gets sick, that he is always available to take care of us and pick up dinner and medicine and do the dishes, but I confess it does.  The last round we went through last week turned out to be strep.  Let me tell you how much fun that was.  Because we have all been sick so much lately we have been home a lot watching a lot of TV.  So when my lovely antibiotics kicked in and made me better in a matter of days, I actually took the kids to the park.  Even though it was the park that doesn't have any equipment, they had fun playing in the holes.

It was a Wicked week

First things first,  I am changing everyone's name.  Mostly because I am a little neurotic and a tiny bit just for fun.  If I can figure out how to do this, I will post everyones picture next to their new name.  The last weeks has been kind of crazy.  Someone has been sick around here for two weeks.  Last week Gilbert, Ashley, Samantha and I were supposed to go to Wicked.  Wednesday morning Davyn got sick.  We were supposed to leave on Thursday, the play was Thursday night.  Between 5 and 7 I went through a thousand different scenarios and could not come up with anything that would work.  I decided not to go.  It was a dark day.  We had been waiting to go for months and this was our Christmas present.  I decided to give my ticket to Gilbert's sister Suzanne.  I emailed her and she was very excited to go.  She emailed me back later and offered to watch Davyn.  Samantha was also sick and had missed the entire week of school and on the way down to California Ashley also got sick.  We got to LA and everyone crashed.  Suzanne drove all the way to LA to watch Davyn in the hotel room so that he could sleep.(you know I so owe you for that)  Gilbert and I and 2 sick kids went to see Wicked.  It was amazing.  We all loved it, even the two that ran out of motrin an hour and a half before it was over. (Mother of the year right here)  So we drive back home on Friday and pick up Dillon and Gracie.  A few hours after we picked them up Dillon came down with a fever. So I now have four sick kids.  This is so much fun. But wait there's more.  In the middle of the night on Friday, Gracie wakes up and is not breathing well and has a fever.  That's right 5 sick kids.  Saturday is a blur of MacGyver movies, and Sunday morning I wake up sick.  Needless to say it is Friday and although everyone is still coughing everyone is mostly better.  Gracie still has a runny nose and is sleeping alot, but I am not sure if that is carry over from being sick or because she just cut her second tooth.  Hopefully next week will be boring.
